From packaging to ingredients sourcing, drinks brands are re-inventing themselves as zero-carbon champions. Producers are actively working to reduce the impact of their supply chain, while wineries, all too aware of climate emergency’s negative effects, are experimenting with damaged grapes.
In the vein of Total Tastes, health continues to shape drink trends, too. Emerging now are gluten-free cordials, non-alcoholic Ayurvedic tipples and next-generation vintners such as Ambijus and Acid League, whose wine proxies continue to stoke the accelerating no- and low-alcohol sector.
