Welcome back and a very happy new year to you from all of us here at The Future Laboratory. We hope you had a restful and indulgent festive period and have come back ready to get stuck in to 2022
As we begin the year, we welcome The Great Re-engagement, a time when people will reconnect consciously, purposefully and rationally with the world around them. The past year has ushered in The Great Acceleration, with the pandemic not only changing the world, but fast-tracking the ways in which we engage with it and the technologies we use to do so. Now, we are excited for a new 365 days in which to innovate, regenerate and inspire our clients and members in 2022.
This year, we are doing things a little differently – with two key macrotrend moments in spring/summer and autumn/winter and, depending on the Covid situation, the exciting return of our physical UK Trend Briefing 2023 event later in the year. More information on ticket sales to come soon.
In the meantime, we have put together an action-packed programme of online events and free webinars for this year, featuring inspiring video presentations, guest speaker panels and live Q&A sessions. Download our 2022 events calendar to see what we have coming up.
Lastly, internally as a business we will continue to strive for betterment in all areas, particularly towards people and the planet. Our two pillars of focus for the next five years and beyond are Liberation and Sustainability. The future cannot happen without this commitment, and it is the responsibility of us all as individuals and as a community at The Future Laboratory. You can read more about how we plan to do this in our Cultural Manifesto, to be launched this year. If you have any questions, or if you would like strategic advice on how to activate and execute your plans for the coming year, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
