Accredited Beauty

Against the backdrop of a global pandemic, the unrelenting climate crisis and the impact of inflation on customer spending, the beauty and wellness sectors are entering a new age of products and experiences built on expertise, innovation, evidence and certification.

Now, as we explore in this presentation, companies must bring their expertise, research and accreditation to the fore, not only to prove the worthiness of their products but also to inspire spending. Science and technological expertise will also be crucial to safeguard the industry against future shocks, securing supply chains and fuelling fresh directions for formulas, products and experiences.

Adaptive Appetites

Explore the ever-changing meaning of nourishment in turbulent times and discover the cultural rituals, flavour profiles and bio-hacks that are set to propel the food and drink market in unexpected directions over the coming decade.

We’ll take a closer look at how future-fit food systems and new technologies will transform the sector. As consumers continue to realign their social beliefs to fit their dietary requirements, brands will need to respond, refocusing on niche communities, ingredients and experiences.

This presentation offers the chance to delve into our new macrotrend, Adaptive Appetites, due to be launched at our Food & Drink Futures 2022 online event, taking place on 1 December.

Hyperphysical Stores

Companies across the retail sector have been demonstrating resilience despite a turbulent start to the Transformative Twenties.

In a post-Covid landscape, changing consumer needs are driving retailers to rethink bricks-and-mortar stores to be more engaging, sensorial and memorable.

Our new Hyperphysical Stores macrotrend presentation explores how e-commerce is accelerating to offer multi-layered and sometimes confusing experiences for customers and brands, while bricks-and-mortar shops are becoming bastions of extraordinary, sensorial moments.

Guilded Luxury

As the world enters a new chapter of global uncertainty, luxury brands are seizing on safeguarding strategies to build long-lasting and enriching relationships with their clientele.

In this way, luxury brands are transforming into members’ clubs, with tiered levels of access offering different benefits and services, whether it’s private boutiques for the highest spenders or nonfungible tokens (NFTs) for the digitally driven that deliver early access to new or bespoke products.

In this presentation, which can be presented in-house, we explore the key shifts for the luxury and hospitality sector for 2023 and beyond.

Betterverse Building

With a bandwagon led by Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, the metaverse is gaining momentum and heralded as something much more profound and powerful than just another iteration of the world ‘wild’ web.

But as the virtual land grabs begin, how can we ensure this hyper-immersive, world-changing frontier is built and governed in the right way rather than dominated by big tech?

Our new Betterverse Building presentation helps businesses tap into this digital space, understand its massive potential and explore why we need to build a Betterverse – a metaverse that stands for equitability, inclusion, representation, accessibility, transformation, and personal and planetary betterment.
