The Future Laboratory works with universities and colleges across the country, collaborating with tutors to provide insightful course content across a range of business and fashion degrees. Keen to encourage the next generation of thought-leaders, we provide subsidised memberships to LS:N Global for higher education institutions. As part of our long-standing partnerships with Nottingham Trent, Central Saint Martins, London College of Fashion and Northumbria University, members of the LS:N Global team regularly present the students with creative briefs, providing the knowledge and tools to inspire them.
We are one of the original sponsors of The Roundhouse, a performing arts and events space in Camden that forms part of the life-blood of London’s creative community. The venue offers an outreach programme for disadvantaged young people from across the Greater London area and helps them to develop the skills needed to thrive in creative careers. We have been proud sponsors of this Young Creatives programme, which offers workshops and mentoring for 11–25-year-olds, for more than a decade. Beyond corporate sponsorship, we have dedicated our time, sweat and tears to Ride The Roundhouse, a 100-mile cycling challenge that raises money to ensure the venue can carry on delivering its life-changing work. In return, The Future Laboratory staff benefit from free tickets to many of The Roundhouse’s year-round events.
Offered multiple times a year, our Presentation Academy offers both first-time and seasoned presenters – through refresher lessons – a forum to gain confidence in the world of public speaking. Over the course of six weeks, attendees learn the importance of breath, projection and refining their on-stage personality, so they can showcase The Future Laboratory thinking to the wider world. Throughout the course, attendees also learn wider lessons in communication, personal presence and gain a skillset that they will carry with them throughout their personal and professional lives.
