Due to high demand, we have released a second date for our Health & Wellness Futures Forum. Join us as we unveil the ideas and innovators that are set to define the future of the health and wellness sectors.

The wellness industry has grown exponentially in recent years. While we demonstrated last year how these offerings are borrowing from the healthcare sector to demonstrate their efficacy, there is a growing realisation that the sheer abundance of products on the market is only adding to our anxieties.

On the day, we will examine how the business can strip back its offering to tap into the emerging culture of deceleration, which focuses on a much more personalised and nuanced version of wellness.

Christopher Sanderson is co-founder of The Future Laboratory, where he is responsible for delivering the company’s extensive global roster of conferences, media events and LS:N Global Trend Briefings, which he co-presents with the team in London, New York, Sydney, Melbourne, Stockholm and Helsinki. Clients who have booked one of his inspirational keynotes include Gucci Group, the European Travel Commission, Retail Week, Selfridges, M&S, Chanel, Harrods, Aldo and H&M.

Jessica Smith,
Senior Creative Researcher, LS:N Global

Jessica joined The Future Laboratory in 2014 after completing a master’s degree in Trend Forecasting at the Polimoda Institute of Design and Marketing in Florence. She has since become the editorial expert across the health, wellbeing and beauty sectors, and has spoken at external events such as the Global Wellness Summit in Miami and the Balance Festival in London. She was previously a marketing executive at Telegraph Events, working on health and fitness consumer shows such as the Be:Fit, The Ski & Snowboard Show, and the London Bike Show. At The Future Laboratory, she has worked on a range of client projects, including Nike, Nikon, Royal Salute and QIC.

Tom Savigar, Senior Partner, The Future Laboratory

Tom has guided many of The Future Laboratory’s clients through some of the most challenging market shifts and global recessions of the past 10 years. With a much-expanded team, and offices in the US and Australia, he continues to do this, working with clients as diverse as Absolut, Cadillac, The Body Shop, Lamborghini, HSBC, Courvoisier, UBS, BMW, British Gas and Marks & Spencer.

Rhiannon Mcgregor, Senior Foresight Writer, LS:N Global

Rhiannon joined LS:N Global in 2016 and is responsible for co-running the fast-paced Briefing and Insight news sections. She also contributes across the website as a writer and researcher. Rhiannon has experience writing online for design magazines Disegno and Wallpaper*, lifestyle magazine Jocks & Nerds and art magazine Aesthetica. After completing a Bachelor of Arts in History of Art and Italian at Leeds University, her interest in writing prompted her to pursue a Master’s degree in Magazine Journalism at City University.
