Chris Sanderson, Co-Founder, The Future Laboratory

Christopher Sanderson is co-founder of The Future Laboratory, where he is responsible for delivering the company’s extensive global roster of conferences, media events and LS:N Global Trend Briefings, which he co-presents with the team in London, New York, Sydney, Melbourne, Stockholm and Helsinki. Clients who have booked one of his inspirational keynotes include Gucci Group, the European Travel Commission, Retail Week, Selfridges, M&S, Chanel, Harrods, Aldo and H&M.

Kathryn Bishop, Deputy Foresight Editor, LS:N Global

Kathryn joined LS:N Global in the spring of 2018 as its deputy editor of content, having originally worked as a senior writer within The Future Laboratory’s strategy team. With a background as a writer, editor and consultant in the luxury sector – specifically fine jewellery and watches – Kathryn is our resident luxury specialist. She also works on LS:N’s fashion content and leads its Opinion section, commissioning both internal and external viewpoints.

Tom has guided many of The Future Laboratory’s clients through some of the most challenging market shifts and global recessions of the past 10 years. With a much-expanded team, and offices in the US and Australia, he continues to do this, working with clients as diverse as Absolut, Cadillac, The Body Shop, Lamborghini, HSBC, Courvoisier, UBS, BMW, British Gas and Marks & Spencer.

Rachael Stott, Senior Creative Researcher

Rachael joined The Future Laboratory in 2014, and is responsible for leading research to identify and visually communicate global cultural trends across the lifestyle sectors. With a personal interest in conscious business, Rachael’s strength lies in translating our strategic foresight into creative visual outputs to help inspire clients to apply this thinking. As our fashion and retail expert, she has worked on projects for clients such as adidas and the British Fashion Council, and is regularly quoted as an expert in publications such as The Guardian, Retail Week and The Business of Fashion.

Venues

The Future Laboratory’s home at Elder Street has its own story to tell. The Grade II-listed property is built on the site of a Roman cemetery and in the precincts of the medieval Priory and Hospital of St Mary Spital.

Located between London’s creative capital of Shoreditch and the financial heart of the city, it’s a short walk from Shoreditch High Street and Liverpool Street stations.
