Vashti Hallissey: Trends Analyst

Vashti Hallissey graduated from Nottingham University with a degree in English and American studies, which included a year at the University of California, Berkeley. She then took a postgraduate diploma in creative advertising at University College Falmouth, where she won a D&AD Yellow Pencil.

While freelancing as a creative, Vashti has answered the phones at the Guinness Book of Records, worked as a waitress in a cocktail bar, and been a bouncer. As trends researcher, she now scours the world's media for the latest trends, takes field trips to exotic places and interviews global experts.

When she's not on the look-out for the next big thing, Vashti can be found writing and illustrating stories, going for adventures on the National Express and working her way around London's cafés in search of the perfect hot chocolate.
