Joss Debae: Visual Trends Analyst

Since joining The Future Laboratory in 2009, Joss has worked on brand and innovation strategy for brands such as Burberry, Courvoisier, Hodder & Stoughton, Disney and British Gas.

He honed his passion for identifying consumer typologies and sociocultural trends in previous roles including editing for colour trends publication Mix, researching global youth trends for Saints Creative Intelligence, and producing exhibitions and bespoke projects for Selfridges, WGSN, Beyond the Valley, Covent Garden and Designersblock.

He co-founded the creative collective KithKin with friends he met while studying product design at Central Saint Martins, where he started his obsession with human behaviour, social rituals, visual semantics and the affordance of objects.

A keen cyclist and fan of all things Japanese, Joss can usually be found drinking his way through the world of Belgian beers, and contributing to far too many blogs in his spare time.
